Excellent condition pencil and brown pencil, signed, slight browning where matte revealed the paper (the paper is quite white compared to the picture here due to the available light and is not wrinkled). Large [...] drawing may be a mockup for a painting. Perhaps some fan can set me straight."

According to Galerie Laqua 2/2000, it's a study for a (never realized) cover of "The Carl Barks Library". (If that's correct, would that have been The Carl Barks Library - Set II?) This raises the question why Barks would make a new version of an already existant cover.
